Australia's David Warner showcased his fielding prowess taking an incredible catch to dismiss England batsman Jake Ball in the first Test at the Gabba.

Warner was playing at leg slip when Ball edged one off a Mitchell Starc delivery.

With less than a second to react, Warner's reflexes kicked in and he made an impressively quick leap to his right for a brilliant catch to send Ball walking back to the pavillion.

Ball only made 14 runs in his time at the crease, but the Englishman would get his revenge when Australia went out to bat.

In the 20th over Ball took the dangerous wicket of Warner (26 runs), catching the Aussie uncomfortable on his back foot. Warner awkwardly flicked his bat and popped the ball right into Dawid Malan's lap at short mid-wicket to leave Australia in a sticky situation at 3/59.
