Nathan McSweeney involved in horror 8-21 collapse as batters struggle during Shield clash
Batting in the Sheffield Shield has suffered one of its worst advertisements after a horror flow of wickets between South Australia and Tasmania.
South Australia won the toss and chose to bat at Adelaide Oval and were off to a nightmare start when Henry Hunt (4) was bowled by Gabe Bell.
Bell had another wicket at 2-35 when Conor McInerney (22) departed.

It looked like the home side had steadied the ship when former Test opener Nathan McSweeney and Jason Sangha combined for a 37-run partnership.

However, the fall of McSweeney on 20 made it 3-72 and started a horrific collapse.
Kieran Elliott was the man ripping through, taking six wickets including McSweeney.
Test all-rounder Beau Webster chipped in with one, removing Sangha for the top score of 28 while Gabe Bell also grabbed another wicket.
McSweeney's fall meant the Redbacks lost 8-21 with the team bowled out for 93.
SA were barely in a position to blame the pitch either with a number of batters playing away from their body while Harry Nielsen also left a ball that hit his off-stump.
The carnage wasn't over though when Tasmania batted.
Brendan Doggett managed to rip through the top order, with Tasmania 3-13 early.
Opener Jake Weatherald was caught behind by Nielsen for a golden duck, trying to drive aggressively outside off-stump.
Tim Ward was then strangled down the legside while Jordan Silk also nicked behind a delivery that wasn't hitting the stumps.
