Mitchell Starc to miss opening ODIs after slicing finger on his own boot
Mitchell Starc will miss the opening one-dayers against Sri Lanka after cutting his finger on his bowling boots.
Starc received six stitches to close the cut on a finger on his bowling hand, which he received in his follow-through in the first over of Australia's 10-wicket win in the first T20.
Starc bowled the remainder of his spell with figures of 3-26 from his four overs, including the wickets of opened Pathum Nissanka, Wanindu Hasaranga and Dushmantha Chameera.

Rules allowed Starc to bowl the rest of that game with tape on his finger, but he cannot wear tape in subsequent games.

Jhye Richardson has been added to the ODI squad, having originally only been picked for the T20s. He has been replaced in the touring Australia A side by Nathan McAndrew, who will fly to Sri Lanka from the UK where he has been playing county cricket for Warwickshire.
It's the second finger injury sustained by a fast bowler on the tour - Sean Abbott was sent home after suffering a fracture when he was struck by a net bowler in training.
The final T20 will be played in Kandy on Saturday night AEST. The first of five ODIs will take place at the same venue on Tuesday evening (AEST).
