India claim 'famous win' during crazy finish to fifth Test after Chris Woakes bats in a sling

Chris Woakes' heroic act of batting in a sling has amounted to nothing after India won the fifth Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar trophy against England.
Woakes, who had dislocated his shoulder, walked out when England needed 17 runs to win with one arm tucked under his shirt.
"If ever you wanted drama, here's drama for you," Ravi Shastri said as Woakes walked out.

Mohammed Siraj ended the dream of an inspirational finish when he bowled Gus Atkinson for 17 and subsequently England for 367. India won the Test by six runs on day five.

Woakes did not end up facing a ball, thanks to some clever batting from Atkinson.
Michael Atherton described it as a "famous win" on Sky Sports.
The final day started with England needing 35 runs to win with four wickets in hand.
Harry Brook had been dismissed the day before on 111 with Jamie Smith and Jamie Overton not out.
Smith edged behind off Siraj for 2 early on to give India a big sniff.
The next big drama came when Siraj trapped Overton on the pads. Kumar Dharmasena pondered the decision for what seemed like a long four seconds before giving him out.
The angst on Dharmasena's face was clear to see. DRS ruled it was clipping leg stump and Overton was gone with 20 runs to win.
Another crazy moment came the next over when Josh Tongue was given out lbw off Prasidh Krishna's bowling. However, it was reviewed and overturned.
However, Tongue was bowled by Krishna for a duck with 17 runs left to win, bringing Woakes to the crease.
More drama arrived when Akash Deep dropped Atkinson in the boundary, with the ball going for six.
The runs slowly trickled away as Woakes watched on from the other end in with his arm in his short. The pain on his face when he had to run was clear.
Eventually it was Siraj taking the final wicket, to finish with 5-104.
The Anderson-Tendulkar trophy finished drawn at 2-2.

"India's narrowest ever win, what a thrilling finale and what an end to a magnificent series," Ravi Shastri said.
England's next Test series is The Ashes.
