Cricket fan becomes celebrity after dozing off

A cricket fan has become an overnight celebrity after falling to sleep in the stands during the Proteas' Second Test against England.

The man, who was watching the fifth and final day of play at Cape Town, was caught dozing off by broadcast cameras and unknowingly had his nap beamed onto the big screens at the Newlands ground.

It was only a matter of time before one of his mates poked fun at him and, as if on queue, one appeared behind him to point the finger and dance in delight.

The scene prompted a roar of laughter around the ground, offering one of few highlights as the match ground to a draw.
