While the Hobart Hurricanes suffered the same of scoring the lowest total in club history, it was a rival copping one of the biggest blows of the game.
On a search for quick runs, boom rookie Jake Fraser-McGurk hit a four with his first ball but three deliveries later he was in agony.
The right-hander copped a Billy Stanlake delivery right to the groin during the second over and immediately went down.

Jake Fraser-McGurk was in agony after a brutal blow. Fox Cricket
"Fraser-McGurk is hit where it really hurts, ouch," Mark Howard said on Fox Cricket.
The Renegades opener's response was one you'd expect.
"F--k me," he was heard saying through the stump mic.
Fraser-McGurk was back to his feet seconds later though before jumping around and facing up.
Unfortunately for him, he was out the next ball, chopping on a shorter delivery outside off stump.
"Maybe a little tentative after that nasty blow," Adam Gilchrist said.
The early wicket didn't hurt the Renegades in the end though, chasing down the total of 75 only four wickets down.
