BBL star Mohammad Hasnain suspended from bowling for illegal action
Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Hasnain has been suspended from bowling after being found to have an illegal bowling action.
The Sydney Thunder bowler was reported after playing in a Big Bash League game against the Adelaide Strikers on January 2.

According to the Suspected Illegal Bowling Action Procedures, Hasnain was due to be tested at Cricket Australia's ICC-approved facility in Brisbane within the mandated 14-day timeframe and before he departed Australia following the end of the BBL season.
However, after he and others were prematurely recalled by the Pakistan Cricket Board to fulfil international duties, it was agreed the 21-year-old would conduct his biomechanical test at the PCB's testing laboratory in Lahore, with the results provided to Cricket Australia for independent review and verification.
Hasnain will now work with a bowling consultant to modify his bowling action. He will remain suspended from international cricket until he clears his reassessment.
The decision rules the paceman out of the Pakistan Super League and next month's home, three-test series against Australia.
"We'd like to commend Mohammad Hasnain, the Pakistan Cricket Board, Cricket NSW and Sydney Thunder for their cooperative and respectful approach to this process – particularly given the logistical challenges around travel and testing," Cricket Australia's Head of Cricket Operations and Scheduling, Peter Roach, said in a statement.
"CA's independent expert is satisfied that Mohammad replicated his bowling action in the controlled environment during testing and that the results are accurate.
"Given the collaborative nature of this process, we have full confidence the PCB will support Mohammad to rectify his action.
"We wish Mohammad the best over [the] coming months and look forward to welcoming him back to Australia in the future."
