'Catch of the summer' from 191cm Sixers star leaves commentators stunned
Jack Edwards' "catch of the summer" contender was all for nothing as his Sixers fell short in the Big Bash League qualifier on Tuesday night.
Hobart Hurricanes were batting first at Bellerive Oval and were cruising at 1-61 on their home deck.
Veteran batter Matthew Wade cut a Mitchell Perry delivery and the ball looked to be sailing towards the boundary.

But point fielder Edwards leapt off the ground and somehow managed to snare the ball in his right hand while virtually horizontal to the ground.
The athletic act from the 191-centimetre beanpole stunned commentators.

"What a catch, catch of the summer," Fox Cricket's Mark Howard proclaimed.
"Jack Edwards has stunned the crowd, it will stun everyone around the world when they see that.
"That is an unbelievable grab from Jack Edwards, went like an absolute bullet and he plucked it out of the air."
Aussie legends Mark Waugh and Adam Gilchrist were in disbelief.
"That is the catch of the season, wow," Waugh said.
"That is an absolute beauty, that is a wicket out of nowhere."

Gilchrist added: "How can something so big just float so effortlessly off the ground?".
"That is just remarkable, a sight to behold."
Edwards' teammate Kurtis Patterson could only marvel.
"He caught it clean as a whistle and as easy as you like didn't he, he's a bloody good fielder, he's got huge buckets for hands," Patterson said.
The Edwards stunner was in vain as the Sixers fell 12 runs short of the Hurricanes.
Hobart is one win away from its first BBL title, while the Sixers will face the winner of the knockout final between the Thunder and the Melbourne Stars.
The winner of that match will take on the Hurricanes in the decider.
