Tim David pushed away in 'bizarre scenes' as umpire rules Australians failed to appeal for run out
A number of Australian players have been involved in a bizarre situation with umpire Gerard Aboud after a run out was bizarrely not given out against the West Indies.
With 52 runs needed off 10 balls, West Indies tail-ender Alzarri Joseph hit a Spencer Johnson delivery to Mitchell Marsh. Marsh threw the ball in and Johnson removed the bails in a close chance but it appeared no one appealed.
Aboud therefore didn't send the run out upstairs to the third umpire.

Replays then showed Joseph was well and truly out with Mitch Marsh celebrating.

A number of players then approached Aboud with the umpire telling them to "stop" and saying "there was no appeal".
Tim David then repeatedly claimed "I appealed" before stating "this is a joke mate".
Marsh then appeared to point saying David appealed before Aboud said "can we get on with the game guys?"
"You're better off giving it out," David replied before Marsh attempted to push him away from the situation.

Marsh then requested if the deliberation over whether anyone appealed could be sent upstairs.
"It doesn't matter, he's backed himself to not give it out," one player could be heard saying.
"That's the issue, it's umpire error."
Marsh then tried to cool down the situation by saying "alright, let's play".
The pleas continued from Australia with David, Marcus Stoinis and Josh Hazlewood captured arguing before David said: "Just say you were wrong and give it out".

"This is ridiculous. Can we get on with the game? Guys, we're getting into really poor territory. Get on with the game," Aboud replied.
Speaking on Fox Cricket, Aussie cricket great Mike Hussey was on Aboud's side.
"I agree with Gerard Aboud. Mitch Marsh tried to push Tim David away and say let's get on with it," he said.
"It's not a good look for young kids out there watching, you've got to accept the umpire's decision and just move on."
As Johnson's over continued, David was captured talking to Australia's dugout with his arms in the air.

A wider angle failed to reveal any appeal of substance, however not all players were in the frame.
"Bizarre scenes," commentator Mark Howard said.
While no doubt a controversial moment, Hussey added post-game that Marsh handled the situation well.
"I like the way he diffused the situation with that run out at the end there, that could've got really ugly there," he said.
"He just said boys come on let's get on with it, they're 50 runs behind."
