'Little bit perplexed': Indian legend Sunil Gavaskar reacts to surprise SCG snub
Sunil Gavaskar has responded after being snubbed from the trophy presentation at the conclusion of the Test series named after him.
The former Indian captain, who has his name on the coveted Border-Gavaskar Trophy, was left out of the post-game presentation at the SCG on Sunday afternoon.
Instead, it was left to Allan Border to hand the silverware to Pat Cummins on stage after the Aussies secured a 3-1 series victory over their fierce rivals.

Gavaskar has since revealed he was made aware of the decision before the game.
"I was told just before the Test started that was going to be the situation," he told ABC Grandstand after stumps in Sydney.
"If India didn't win or draw the series, I wouldn't be required. I'm not feeling sad, but I'm just a little bit perplexed.
"It's the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, both of us should have been there."
At this stage, Cricket Australia have not commented publicly on the decision.

One of the most famous Indian cricketers of all-time, Gavaskar amassed more than 10,000 runs during a Test career that spanned 16 years.
The 75-year-old has been on commentary throughout the summer.
Border was also part of the broadcast team with Fox Cricket and was at the ground to congratulate the Aussie squad for a drought-breaking win over India.
