Tim Tszyu has sent an ominous message to unified world champ Jermell Charlo after defeating Tony Harrison via a ninth round stoppage.

The 28-year-old knocked Harrison to the canvas with several uppercuts with the referee stepping in shortly after to give Tszyu a TKO victory in the ninth round.

Replays show Harrison looking in a BAD way as he copped hits to the head.

The fight was called two minutes and 33 seconds into the ninth round.

"What's my motherf---ing name?" Tszyu said in the ring after the fight.

"The message was sent clearly.

"You know what's up, you know what's next. I'm coming (for Charlo)."

Main Event's Ben Damon said in commentary that "the doubters" had been "destroyed".

Tim Tszyu and Tony Harrison both made heavy contact to the head in round eight, but Tszyu got the better of the American.

The referee stood in between the rivals and let the fight settle for about 45 seconds late in the round after Harrison was dealt some serious power.

Harrison was stumbling around and looking groggy, but he regathered himself in a corner and withstood another 15-20 seconds.

Tony Harrison was dominated in the third round but settled himself over the fourth and fifth, defending well as the rivals sized each other up.

The rivals are now contesting round six of their 12-round fight.
