Jake Paul's success in the boxing ring has continued after an incredibly underwhelming performance by Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Post-fight, Paul then called out five big names.

Paul, fighting for the first time since defeating Mike Tyson in November, won by unanimous decision. The judges scored the fight 99-91, 97-93 and 98-92.

In the early rounds Chavez Jr barely landed a blow and at one stage had his father, Julio Cesar Chavez Snr, in the crowd screaming at him.

Chavez Jr continually complained about getting hit too low in the fight as well but didn't receive much sympathy from the referee.

By round eight the Mexican started to show some promise but it was way too late.

Chavez Jr's last fight was in July 2024 when he defeated Uriah Hall by unanimous decision. Before that, he hadn't fought since 2021.

Paul has now won 12 fights, and is on a six-fight winning streak. He is now on track to be promoted to the WBA world rankings in the cruiserweight division, according to veteran journalist Lance Pugmire.

After his win, Paul then called out Zurdo Ramirez, who had just fought on to co-main event and retained the WBA and WBO cruiserweight titles via a unanimous decision win over Yuniel Dorticos.

But Ramirez wasn't the only name he had on his mind.

"I want tougher fighters. I want to be world champion, Zurdo looked slow as shit tonight. That'd be easy work," he said on DAZN's coverage.

"Badou Jack, I want everybody. Anthony Joshua, Gervonta (David) and Tommy (Fury) stop running.

"I'm just getting warmed up in this shit. I'm ready. I'll stay active and fight everybody. There's a long line. I've got time, I'll take on anyone, any time, any place."

Fury is the only fighter to have beaten Paul.

Chavez Jr doesn't think Paul is up to the standard of the champions.

"I thought I lost the first five rounds, so I tried to win the last rounds," he said.

"He's strong, a good boxer (for) the first three, four rounds. After that, I felt he was tired. I don't think he's ready for the champions, but he's a good fighter."
