Jake Paul has detailed the gruesome fallout from his knockout loss against Anthony Joshua, revealing he underwent surgery following the fight.

The polarising YouTuber-turned-boxer lasted six rounds against the former heavyweight world champion on Saturday afternoon (AEDT), but was ultimately no match for Joshua.

Paul was stunned on multiple occasions in the fifth and sixth rounds, before the referee finally waved it off after a vicious right hook from the British superstar.

The 28-year-old then claimed in his post-fight interview that he had suffered a broken jaw, before spitting out blood onto the canvas inside the Kaseya Center.

His older brother and WWE star Logan Paul posted a rather graphic ideo to social media that showed Jake's teeth had shifted - a clear sign of a fracture - before the man himself shared photos of an X-ray with two breaks in his jaw.

Paul was taken to hospital and has since confirmed he underwent surgery for the injury.

"Just got out of surgery. Everything went smooth," he said via X.

Paul's career record moves to 12-2 as a result of the loss to Joshua, with his only other defeat coming at the hands of Tommy Fury.

He has said he will take some time away from boxing after the brutal defeat before making his return in 2026 in the cruiserweight division.

The controversial social media sensation also laughed off suggestions the fight was rigged in any way, which was a major talking point before and after Joshua's knockout.

"I was paid to lose? Hahaha," Paul said via X.
