Fans fume as British boxer ends fight with bizarre act before being carted away on stretcher
British boxer Ben Whittaker is being torched by the sporting community over a bizarre act which ended his fight against Liam Cameron.
Whittaker was taken to hospital with what he claimed was a leg injury, but hordes of fans were left asking whether he had faked the problem in order to stop the fight.
He clutched at his leg after his strange move to grab Cameron and drag both boxers over the ropes and out of the ring.

Cameron - who had largely dominated the fight to that point - wanted to keep going but Whittaker claimed the leg injury and was carted away on a stretcher.

Whittaker, who won silver at the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2021, was taken to hospital to undergo further medical treatment.
The incident was controversially ruled as an accidental injury with the fight result taken to the judges' scorecards.
Cameron appeared confident that he had won the bout as he raised his arm in the air, but his emotions quickly turned as the scores claimed the fight as a draw.
"He (Whittaker) had nothing left," Cameron told DAZN post-fight.

"Kid was knackered from round two. I definitely beat him. I don't get a fair share (in fights). What more do I have to do?
"Never had a promotional deal in my life and I tried my best to win that today and I think I deserved the win."
Cameron declared he felt Whitakker was looking for a way out, when asked about his performance.
"Yeah 100 per cent. You can see it on camera," he said, suggesting Whittaker dragged both fighters out of the ring on purpose.
"I don't want to be critical of him."
