'You're not going to touch me': NBA star Dennis Schroder fumes at Germany coach in heated FIBA World Cup clash
German NBA star Dennis Schroder has been involved in a fiery clash with his coach Gordie Herbert at the FIBA World Cup.
The incident occurred during the first quarter of Germany's win over Slovenia on Sunday night when Herbert caught Schroder and teammate Daniel Theis arguing during a timeout.
Annoyed that the seconds were ticking away, Herbert yelled at Schroder to sit down and appeared to push him towards the bench, which the Toronto Raptors guard took exception to.

"Hey, let's go! F--k! Sit down!" said Herbert as he pushed Schroder.

"Coach, chill out," Schroder responded before being told "you don't tell me what to do" by Herbert.
Schroder appeared stunned at what had taken place and refused to take a seat.
"You're not gonna touch me like that," he told Herbert.
"I know I'm just telling you to sit down," the coach responded before delivering his message to the team.
The clash did not halt Germany's progress as they emerged 100-71 winners, with Schroder continuing his fine World Cup form with 24 points and 10 assists.

Following the game, Schroder addressed the heated conversation with Theis which led to the clash with Herbert.
"I mean, basketball is an emotional sport," Schroder told BasketNews.
"It's a game of runs, and you gotta stay cool. Me and Daniel go way back, I have known him since I was 12 or 13. We had those kinds of moments when we were young as well, but it always helped us to elevate our game.
"That's what happened today. We got into it, and I told him, 'Listen, that's what you gotta do, and you can tell me the same thing'. Of course, he's going to be pissed a little bit. It will itch a little bit, but he will give his all. I think that's what happened."
