Harry McKay's return to Carlton marred by ugly head knock as Brodie Kemp suffers achilles injury
Harry McKay's highly-anticipated return to Carlton lasted just 17 minutes after he was forced off the field following a worrying collision with West Coast's Tyrell Dewar.
McKay had yet to feature for Carlton since the club's shock season opening loss to Richmond as he took a three-week break from the game due to personal reasons.
The 27-year-old will now sit on the sidelines for another week after he was left flattened on the turf in an accidental collision with Dewar.

Dewar returned to his feet quickly after the collision but his rival appeared to be dazed as he moved back into the action.
"He doesn't look well," Nathan Buckley said of McKay in commentary on Fox Footy.

"That (collision) knocked Harry around a bit."
McKay was taken off the field for an assessment with medical staff on-site who confirmed he would be substituted out of the game.
The sight was a worrying sign for the key forward given his long history with concussion injuries.
Last season, McKay was at the centre of a controversial debate as he was not immediately removed from the field for an assessment after a head knock.
He was later cleared of a head injury in that match but a please explain order was issued to Carlton's medical team due to the delayed response.

Carlton coach Michael Voss confirmed McKay would not play in the side's Good Friday clash in accordance with concussion protocols but said his player was feeling OK.
"Harry's OK," he said post-match.
"He's obviously in concussion protocols. That will, at least, mean that he'll miss next week."
McKay's time on the sidelines was not the only concern for the 49-year-old coach as he also lost the talent of Brodie Kemp during his side's 71-point win over West Coast.
Kemp limped off the field in the final term as he suffered what appeared to be a serious Achilles injury when attempting to move into space for a mark.
The 23-year-old immediately collapsed to the ground where he remained motionless, clutching at his left ankle.
"It's a suspected Achilles (for Kemp) so we will get the scans to confirm that," Voss said.

"When you see that action it never looks great... he's pretty sore at the moment."
The injuries were only the beginning of Voss' concerns post-match as he conceded that although his team claimed a victory, he was not impressed by their performance.
"I don't know what I feel today," he said.
"It's not relief. It's nice to get the win, but very quickly you can't help but look to next week.
"I should be sitting here with a huge smile on my face, but I'm not.
"That might say something about it."
The Blues will take on North Melbourne at 3:20pm on Friday at Marvel Stadium before West Coast takes on Essendon at 6:10pm at Optus Stadium.
