'He knows himself what's going on': Port coach explains process behind Wines' heart issue update
Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley has provided a positive update on the health of Ollie Wines after the former Brownlow Medal winner was subbed out against the Swans.
Wines has now been subbed out of a match three times since 2022 over the heart issue but hasn't felt any lingering problems since the Sydney fixture.
Hinkley explained the club, and Wines, now know how to handle any complications.

"Without speaking about his personal health too much, I think it's a managed situation which we know how to manage really well," the coach said on Wednesday.
"Ollie, more importantly, understands it really, really well.
"Even on the weekend, he's self-diagnosed himself, he knows himself what's going on.
"So what I'm comfortable with is that Ollie understands everything and he's comfortable about it. He's more than OK to continue on and be playing the game."
The heart irregularity that causes palpitations first occurred for Wines in 2022.
Hinkley admitted the first time was a shock for Wines but now it doesn't spark a significant reaction.
"He knew exactly what's going on, he wasn't too worried about it – it was more why did this happen again, that's all," Hinkley said.
"He has moved on. He's got great support from the medical team here and his specialists.
"He's really comfortable and I hope his family are absolutely really comfortable about it, and I think that's the really important part."
Port Adelaide plays North Melbourne on Saturday at 4:15pm.
