Swans star 'had a private viewing of a property' in Western Australia as trade rumours heat up

Sydney midfielder Chad Warner has reportedly looked at real estate in Western Australia, as his future in NSW remains up in the air.
Warner is out of contract at the end of the 2025 season, with the WA local already spotted spending time with West Coast officials in the off season.
The Sydney young gun met with Eagles CEO Don Pyke while on holidays in Perthwhere he played a round of golf alongside former Swan and current Eagles head of strategy Kieren Jack.

Now SEN's Paul Hasleby has revealed Warner may be up to even more than just a round of golf.
"Not only did Chad Warner play golf with Don Pyke and Kieren Jack whilst here in Perth," Hasleby told SEN on Tuesday.

"I can tell you last Sunday, he had a private viewing of a property in Bicton. He didn't buy the property, but I am led to believe he did also look at some other properties in that area."
Despite new Swans coach Dean Cox confirming that the 23-year-old is loving his time in Sydney, Hasleby likened his house hunting to that of other players who made the move to WA in recent years.
"It doesn't mean that he's definitely coming home, but Luke Jackson and Liam Baker both explored real estate options in Perth the year before deciding to come home," he said.
Jackson moved from Melbourne to the Dockers at the start of the 2022 season, while Liam Baker just recently joined the Eagles after winning two flags with Richmond.

But exactly what club Warner could be leaning more towards is still unclear, considering his house hunting wasn't particularly close to either the Dockers or Eagles home training facilities.
"It doesn't leave any more clues in terms of which club, because Bicton the suburb is basically right between Coburn and Mineral Resources Park," Hasleby said.
Cox admitted at the end of November that Warner's signature is at the "top" of their priority list in 2025.
"Chad is at the top of our priority now. He's an amazing footballer, one I've got a really strong relationship with," Cox said on SEN Radio at the time.
"He's really enjoying his time in Sydney. That's the role of our footy club and myself now, to try and make sure we can get Chad locked away as quickly as possible and create the environment he wants to be a part of going forward."
