Geelong great Cameron Mooney left 'filthy' as details of Chad Warner's secret Eagles meeting to come light
Geelong premiership star Cameron Mooney has ripped Sydney's Chad Warner after a secret meeting with West Coast stakeholders came to light.
Warner, who is from Western Australia, met with Eagles CEO Don Pyke and head of strategy and innovation Kieran Jack for a round of golf, while visiting Perth.
While it's believed Warner had close relationships with Pyke and Jack - who both were involved at the Swans, the act has still left Mooney seething.

"I'm sorry, I think it looks really bad. I'm a little bit filthy if I'm Chad's teammate," Mooney said on SEN Radio on Thursday.
"People might say, 'they're just mates'. Yeah, absolutely they're mates. But they're mates working for a team (that are interested in him)."

Warner is out of contract at the end of the 2025 season and hasn't begun contract discussions.
New Swans coach Dean Cox admitted that the 23-year-old is at the "top" of the club's priority, as they look to retain the midfielder in their already impressive side.
"Chad is at the top of our priority now. He's an amazing footballer, one I've got a really strong relationship with," Cox said on SEN Radio on Wednesday.
"He's really enjoying his time in Sydney. That's the role of our footy club and myself now, to try and make sure we can get Chad locked away as quickly as possible and create the environment he wants to be a part of going forward."

But even though the Swans have continued to shut down trade rumours, Mooney believes the interest to move home is burning brightly for Warner.
"Don Pyke is the CEO of a club basically opening the door for him. No, I'm sorry, no. It's a bad look," he said.
It also left Mooney feeling for Warner's teammates.

"I wouldn't be happy if I was Chad's teammate if he was over there playing golf (with West Coast officials)," he said.
"I would not be happy with it."
Warner came third in the 2024 Bob Skilton medal, behind fellow midfielders Isaac Heeney and Errol Gulden.
