Every August, thousands of runners take to the streets of Sydney and lace up to tackle City2Surf, the world’s largest fun run.

Starting in the city’s CBD, the 14-kilometre course winds down to Bondi Beach, sandwiched between a notoriously unforgiving Heartbreak Hill. For the race, you’ll not only need the right training, but also the right gear.

From sweat-wicking materials to cushioned running sneakers to handy accessories, we’ve found some essential gear to push you over the finish line – and in style.
