Woman's incredible weight loss transformation will amaze you
A woman has become a weight-loss inspiration for others struggling to shed the kilos, after revealing her very personal journey.
And she did it all on her own, after initially wanting surgery.
For the past three years, Laura Micetich has shared her battle with the bulge with her 300,000 Instagram followers.
And her 'before and after' photos are nothing short of inspiring.
"My whole life, I’d been chubby," Micetich writes on her website.
"Obese. After trying and failing to get a handle on my health numerous times, my weight had become a serious enough concern that I was considering weight loss surgery."

Then aged 22, and weighing close to 140 kilograms, Micetich decided to go to her local gym before going under the knife.
"What initially began because of consideration for weight loss quickly grew into an intense love of health, fitness and nutrition.
"I started by going to the gym, lifting weights and eating a clean diet tailored to my body's needs.
"It only took a few weeks for me to realise that I didn't need to go under the knife.
"I needed to get under the bar."

Micetich's transformation is proof that hard work pays off, without the need for quick fixes and fad diets.
"In the first year, I shed more than 100 pounds [45 kilograms] without surgery and significantly changed my unhealthy habits.
"I’d failed to get healthy enough times to lose count. I was resigned to being the sore, tired, fat girl for the rest of my life...and then I wasn’t.
"Something clicked and I realized my life would be what I made it."
Rather than following a specific diet, Micetich did it alone.

"I ate lots of clean foods and removed all starches and processed sugars. I stopped eating out. I stopped getting takeout.
"I stopped buying junk at the grocery store. I stopped having alcoholic drinks with friends. I stopped binging on crap."
She also discovered a passion for lifting weights and is now known as The Iron Giantess.
And she's on a mission to help other struggling with their own weight issues.
"It's not only about the moment where all the struggle and the frustration stop - that moment doesn't often exist, and when it does, it’s supplemented with moments of hardship.

"Frustration and struggle do not stop. But those moments are fleeting at best.
"Everlasting perfection isn’t where we find contentment.
"Instead, we find glory in the moments where our arms are weak and our legs are heavy and we keep climbing."
