Woman receives unexpected reaction after pranking ex with Taylor Swift lyrics

A woman who sent her ex-boyfriend a prank text with Taylor Swift lyrics has been left shocked by his response.

In a video posted to TikTok, Laleh Khorsandi shared a series of texts between herself and her ex who she describes as "the one that got away".

Khorsandi started off the exchange with lyrics from Taylor Swift's iconic song 'Enchanted' writing, "Please don't be in love with someone else."

The video then reveals her ex's response, which reads, "wrong person?"

Khorsandi continues the prank, sending through more lyrics from the hit song, adding, "Please don't have somebody waiting on you."

In an absolute plot twist, the ex boyfriend writes back a series of texts saying, "Where are you? Can I come to you? I couldn't say it before and I'm sorry. But I've always loved you."

Khorsandi pans to a shot of herself looking absolutely speechless and then reveals he actually came over to talk.

In an update video, the TikToker revealed the pair organised to go on a dinner date and told followers things are going well.

The adorable clip has since gone viral, racking up more than six million views and over 660,000 likes.

Users were quick to share their own experiences — that were definitely not as successful — with one person writing, "My one that got away and I rekindled and he ruined my life way worse and broke my heart way harder the second time."

Another wrote, "Well... my 'one that got away' is married. So I feel like I shouldn't do this."
