Woman inundated with photos after saying she likes tradies

It's hard sometimes, being a woman.

You can be sitting there, just merrily minding your own business and tweeting about the things you enjoy, and suddenly with no warning you find yourself bombarded with photos of strange men in their workwear. It happens to me all the time.

And it (actually) happened to 18-year-old Danielle McIver, whose February 6 tweet launched a thousand ships (/photos of men in their workwear).

"3 sexiest things are undoubtably a guy in workwear, a guy in grey cottons or a guy driving," she wrote.

Cue the rest of Twitter. Or specifically, cue men of all trades, benevolently taking the opportunity to let McIver know that they are men and they own – and wear! and drive in! – workwear.

But hands-down, it was this man who won the not-at-all-requested-or-even-suggested scavenger hunt, with all three items: work gear, a car and yes, grey pants.

Somehow, madly, McIver has not yet reached out to marry him.

"I haven't replied to anybody at all yet. I don't think I'll find the man of my dreams on Twitter," McIver told The Sun. "It takes a bit more than some workwear and a driving licence."

"I'm just laughing it off," she added. "My parents don't know yet though."

Long may they enjoy their blissful ignorance, I say.
