The moment mum realises she's been 'flashing' her neighbours for two years
A woman shared a video showing the moment she realised she's been 'flashing' her neighbours for two years.
Jill Santom who lives with her family in Tennessee in the US says they installed frosted glass in their bathroom so they could look out at the view while in their shower, not realising the glass they had chosen didn't properly obscure the view from outside they way it should have.
In the first in a series of TikTok videos Jill asked her husband to take a pretend shower and his image can clearly be seen from the street. This video has been viewed more than 9.2 million times.
In a subsequent video Jill walks down the street explaining the situation before panning her phone to the window where we can see her daughter standing there. While her face is obstructed the rest of her is clear as day.
This one has been viewed 1.5 million times.
She says she had a feeling neighbours could see her through the frosted glass. TikTok
Jill says she had a feeling people could "see me even though it's frosted glass" which is why she decided to conduct the experiments.
"They can't SEE you but they can definitely SEE you," says one.

"OMG that doesn't look private at all," comments another.
At this point Jill says she lives in a new construction community so the view of her bathroom window can be seen by "at least 10 of her neighbours".
"Why do architects insist on putting windows where they shouldn't be," says another.
"This is why I'm not a fan of windows in the bathroom," comments another.
Their images can even be made out at night. TikTok
"Frosted glass DON'T WORK,' says another. "Mine is frosted and my neighbour told me I might want to cover it cuz she has a teenage son and it's pretty clear."
"I'd never be able to look my neighbours in the eye again," adds another.
Jill says she did ask her neighbours why they had never told her and they swore they'd never noticed.
"Our neighbours literally knocked on our door and told us this," says another. "We put a blind up."
