Woman accused of attacking husband after asking him 'Do I look pretty?'

A woman in the US has allegedly lashed out at her husband, attacking him with her hands, after he didn't answer when she asked him if she looked pretty.

Lizeth Guadalupe Ramirez, 20, has now been charged with two counts of assault and family violence following the incident in Texas, reports Fox News.

The woman's husband told police the couple was at a movie theatre when Ramirez asked him if she looked pretty.

He claims he didn't respond to his wife, because he didn’t hear her.

But that allegedly upset Ramirez, and they left the theatre soon after to avoid a fight inside the cinema.

It was on the way home in the car that the alleged attack occurred.

Ramirez’s husband claimed she allegedly hit him repeatedly, the attack continuing at their home.

He claims she even hit a family member, who tried to step in.

It's believed Ramirez initially told police her husband had assaulted her and attempted to strangle her.
