A woman from the UK has detailed how she injected so much filler that her lips "split open" in a horror reaction to the treatment.

Alise, who works as a DJ and posts on TikTok as @djalise_, explained she had the beauty treatment back in December and had a particularly bad experience in the days following.

In a now-viral video, Alise shared a photo of her failed lip filler and made light of it by lip-syncing to a soundbite taken from an episode of America's Top Model.

"When I had so much lip filler in my lips they split open and I looked like a duck," Alise wrote on the video.

Alise's lips are visibly swollen with a split down the middle as she posed for a picture following the botched treatment.

TikTok users took to the comments to share their shock at Alise's lips and shared similar experiences.

"They look so much better now and they looked painful before," one person observed.

"Mine are the exact same! Getting them dissolved on Friday," another added.

Alise's experience comes after another woman, Hareem, took a video of her half-plumped lips after she was forced to leave a mid-way through a treatment.

Hareem's bank account was frozen and the doctor did not finish the procedure due to her inability to pay.

Another woman, influencer Molly-Mae Hague, also took to social media to criticise a "dermaplanning" treatment which left her with a "full beard".
