Influencer shares genius hack for hanging up on people without being rude

US influencer Victoria Waldrip has floored millions on social media with her tip for hanging up on someone without offending them.

Waldrip, best known as Woah Vicky, unwittingly shared the hack when her phone rang during an interview with YouTube series, Unfiltered with Zane and Health.

"I don't know who this is," Waldrip said, looking down at her phone.

After being asked if she'd like to answer the phone, Waldrip agrees.

"Oh, what's up," she says, before stammering and fiddling with her phone.

After a pause, Waldrip revealed what she had done.

"I do this to people when I want to hang up," she said, pointing to the high-lighted airplane option on her phone.

Hosts Zane Hijazi and Heath Hussar fall silent, before cackling with laughter.

"That is genius," Hijazi adds.

Waldrip, a wide smile spreading across her face, nods her head.

"I do it all the time… it will say 'reconnecting'," she said, explaining.

The clip, which was posted to Unfiltered with Zane and Health's TikTok account has been viewed more than 11 million times.
