Wife discovers husband's affair after he dies in a car crash
Losing your husband in a car crash must be devastating. In the thick of your grief you still have to deal with the logistics, organising the funeral, sorting through the paperwork and claiming the life insurance payout to help make ends meet.

To make matters worse, the mistress' demand was successful, with the insurance company agreeing she also deserved compensation for her loss.

They found the husband and his mistress had planned a life together ahead of his death, with the man spending three days a week with her and their son and four days with his existing family.

It must have been a devastating discovery for the wife and while the publication didn't reveal just how much the mistress was paid from the man's life insurance payout, it was reportedly a "considerable sum".
