What is the Multidimensional Anger Test and how does it work?
A new quiz which tests how "angry" you are compared to the average person is the latest craze to take TikTok by storm.
The Multidimensional Anger Test is a personality quiz which asks users to agree or disagree with 38 different phrases.
It is designed to map an individual's experience with the emotion of anger "across multiple empirical dimensions" and was based off the work by Dr Judith M. Siegel.

Some of the phrases include "I get angry when someone acts unfairly" or "I harbour grudges that I don't tell anyone about".
Other phrases and questions are:
- I get angry when I am delayed.
- I can make myself angry about something in the past just by thinking about it.
- Other people seem to get angrier than I do in similar circumstances.
Users are asked to input their answer with a sliding scale and the end result gives you percentage result of how "susceptible to anger" you are compared to the average person.

The results are based on categories such as anger arousal, hostile outlook, internal anger and anger spectrum.
Your test answers are compared against those of others who have taken the test, so the more people use it, the more accurate it will be.
TikTok users discovered the Multidimensional Anger Test and started posting their results onto the app, with many surprised at how "angry" they were found to be.

Users pointed out some of the phrases were comical, including: "people sometimes bother me just by being around me".
