Customers share their Valentine's Day flower 'fails': 'Feels more like a threat'

Customers have shared their hilarious Valentine's Day flower 'fails' following a warning about ordering blooms closer to the day.

Reddit has been inundated with photos on it's 'Expectations vs Reality' thread by disappointed customers.

"This bouquet feels more like a threat or a warning than a sweet gesture," one Redditer wrote along with photos of their disappointing delivery.

"There goes $110 down the drain," they added.

"This cost more than $100," another shared along with images of their less-than-impressive delivery.

Another shared their 'fail,' an expected delivery of gorgeous red roses in bloom and abundant white flowers and green leaves to fill it out.

The resulting delivery were more than disappointing and contained sparse pink flowers and some leaves.

Even funerals aren't safe from disappointing flower deliveries.

"Flowers I ordered for my sister's funeral," one Redditer shared along with these photos.

Valentine's Day is the most lucrative day of the year for florists in Australia, followed closely by Mother's Day which falls on May 12.

Early estimates predicted spending for Valentine's Day 2024 at approximately $465 million, down from 2023 however exceeding forecasts, according to Poss Solutions

Whilst most Valentine's Day floral deliveries are as beautiful as the images presented online, customers who are concerned can simply visit their local florist going forward so they can choose them in person or even watch them be created.
