Trooping the Colour 2023: Kate Middleton steals the show in striking green ensemble for King's parade
The Princess of Wales has stolen the show in a striking green ensemble at Trooping the Colour, the annual birthday celebration of the British monarch.
Princess Catherine, 41, chose a green coat dress to represent her role as Colonel of the Irish Guards, which she took over from Prince William this year.
The dress is by Andrew Gn, with her wide-brimmed matching hat by Philip Treacy.

She added the Irish Guards Shamrock Brooch as a further nod to her new role.
In a tribute to her late mother-in-law, Kate chose a pair of sapphire drop earrings that belonged to Princess Diana.
She last wore the earrings to Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebration in 2022.
Green stiletto heels completed her look today.

Queen Camilla wore a red ensemble by Fiona Clare, which was inspired by the Grenadier Guards. The royal took over the role of Colonel of the Grenadier Guards, replacing Prince Andrew.
She added a black Philip Treacy hat to complete her ensemble.
Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, wore a long-sleeved white dress for the event complete with a large flowered hat.

Princess Charlotte was dressed in traditional white dress with a Peter Pan collar and red embroidery and bow detailing. Her hair was fashioned in a stylish up do.
King Charles III led his first Trooping the Colour parade as sovereign, dressed in military attire as he led the parade on horseback.

Charles was joined by Prince William, the Prince of Wales, Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh and Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, who also wore military attire for the event.
