Woman stunned after finding tenant asleep in a towel during apartment viewing
A renter hoping to score a new apartment was left shocked after walking in on the current resident asleep in a towel during a showing.
TikToker @notevenfrenchy told followers she went to view an apartment in New York with a realtor, only to discover the tenant was still inside.
According to the woman, the resident was supposed to have moved out but was seen napping on a mattress in a t-shirt and bath towel instead.

"When you're supposed to be viewing an apartment, but the current tenant is still here," she captioned the video.
In the clip, which has nearly a million views, the exasperated real estate agent can be heard speaking to the resident outside the door of the apartment.
"I said I have showings 2:30," she said to the man. "'OK, no problem – that was the answer.'"
According to the TikToker, the resident should have already vacated the apartment the previous Sunday, however said he was "fasting", which was the reason he still lived there.

"Also the realtor was the sweetest lady ever! She was trying to do her job and he made it very difficult," she added.
Viewers were divided over their opinion on the footage, with some claiming the tenant had the right to be there.
"A showing doesn't mean you have to leave your apartment," one person wrote. "Although this level of chill during a stranger walking through their apartment is next level."

"He did nothing wrong," another added. "He still lives there she should've waited until the unit was vacant."
Another joked: "As you can see this apartment is very comfortable."
The woman did not reveal whether she applied for the apartment, however told followers "the bathroom was really nice though."
