A woman with a knack for petty vengeance decided to get back at her neighbour who reported her for parking illegally.

Kelly, from Brighton in the UK, was left upset when her male neighbour told the council she had parked on double yellow lines in their street, so she hatched up a plan to enact revenge.

Sharing her plot in a video on TikTok, Kelly told followers she designed a fake Valentine's Day card online to send to the man, Simon, and his wife.

"My neighbour decided to report me for parking on double yellow lines in our close, so I sent him this for Valentine's Day," she captioned the clip. "Hopefully his wife will see it first."

The front of the card had a romantic message which read: "I love that you can be you, I can be me, and together we're happy as can be."

Inside the card, Kelly printed a personalised message pretending to be his secret lover.

"My Simon, Happy Valentine's Day my darling," the note began. "I can't believe I found you. But we're meant to be. I am always there for you and you're always there for me."

"No one in this world could make me feel this way. And all my love for you keeps growing more and more every day. I can't wait to see you next, miss you so much. Love you lots, from your man xx."

Kelly's video quickly attracted hundreds of thousands of views, but most commenters didn't seem to support her vengeful plan.

"That's a bit harsh when you were the one in the wrong," one person wrote.

"Family devastated, wife heartbroken, glad you are feeling better," another angrily added.

However, Kelly defended the card and said her followers had no idea how "nasty" her neighbour was.

She also claimed the car had a blue badge displayed, a disabled sticker for UK drivers.

"Also people don't take into consideration how nasty these people are," she wrote.

Kelly has not yet updated her TikTok about whether her neighbour received the card or his reaction.
