'Don't be alarmed, it's a little big': Woman's horror tattoo fail after breakup

A woman on TikTok has shared her regret after getting an enormous tattoo of her boyfriend's name inked on her back — only for him to dump her a week later.

Ashlyn Grace, 21, took to the social media app to share her heartbreak after the young TikTok star had her ex-boyfriend's name Alexander permanently inked all the way down her back.

"I heard you got a tattoo of your exes name and then broke up a week later," she wrote in the clip.

She then lip-synced the lyrics "all the rumours are true, yeah" from popstar Lizzo's track 'Rumours', which is a popular TikTok trend.

The young woman's original video garnered over 6.6 million views, with commenters desperate to see proof of the ill-fated tattoo.

"That's gonna be an awkward convo for the next guy," one amused commenter wrote.

In a viral follow-up video, Ashlyn filmed herself as she lifted the back of her jumper to show the word 'ALEXANDER' written in block letters down her spine.

"Don't be alarmed, it's a little big," she told her followers in the video, which quickly attracted over 11 million views.

TikTok users were shocked by the sheer size of the tattoo, with many commenting tips on how to cover it up with more ink.

"Girl that's the biggest name tattoo I did ever see," one horrified user wrote.

"The tattoo artist who did this needs to be put in federal prison," another person joked.

Another added: "That's not a tattoo, that's a billboard."

More commenters suggested ways Ashlyn could change the meaning of the tattoo, with one advising her to put the word "Hamilton" underneath it.

"Have a kid and call it Alexander. That's all I've got for you," another person offered.
