Group of friends filmed fighting over $2500 restaurant bill
At the end of a restaurant meal, splitting the bill can be an awkward and tense experience.
One group of friends in the US found this out the hard way after racking up $2500 in food and drinks during a birthday outing.
Posting a clip onto TikTok, a woman – who goes by Cookie – filmed her pals yelling and arguing in the middle of a bar after the expensive tab arrived.

"When the tab comes back $2500 and people get rowdy because they are broke," Cookie wrote on the video.
Her caption added: "What do I be getting myself into?"
In the footage, the friends can be heard yelling incoherently as they paced around a booth area. At one point, someone out of view tells everyone to "chill out", as the fighting continues.
"Why are we arguing?" one of the women asked. "We have money. Why are we arguing, this is weird."
At the end of the clip, a male voice can be heard saying: "I made the reservation."
Cookie's followers were shocked by the footage and claimed this was enough reason to never have group dinners again.

"Young Folk: Don't go out or take trips with a bunch of people," one person wrote. "Everybody don't have the finances or CLASS!"

"Pay for what YOU ordered, SIMPLE!" another added.
One added: "This is why I stopped doing this. People want to get crazy on someone else's dime."
Cookie's video went viral, with over four million views and thousands of confused comments.
In a follow-up video, Cookie explained she was invited to the dinner by a man she met on Instagram.
The group ordered food for everyone, drinks and even a cake and Cookie said she was willing to cover the birthday boy's portion of the bill.

She explained most of the people at the dinner were strangers and began acting "crazy" when the cheque arrived.
"Me and my friends were drunk and we barely know these people," she told her followers. "We were literally ready to pay."
Cookie promised she would later post an update on TikTok, however at the time of publication she has not revealed how the bill was paid.
