This hidden yet 'easy' supermarket app trick can slash your grocery bill

1. Coles new grocery shopping app

Coles recently launched an app allowing customers to shop online, complimenting their existing website that offers the same.

This has been a long time coming for Coles customers and it allows grocery shoppers to easily compare prices and shop as they go.

It also allows you to easily add to your FlyBuys which many Aussie families are saving for Christmas and future expenses.

2. Woolies Everyday Rewards app

The Woolies grocery app has been around for years and is very easy to use. Loyal customers are already experts and shopping the deals in the 'Specials' section.

You can also easily track your Everyday Rewards points and every now and then you can choose to redeem some to get $10 off your shop, that's for every 2000 points earned.

Woolworths now offers products that act as 'rewards boosters' allowing you to accumulate points faster by choosing specific brands.

3. Shopfully

Shopfully allows customers to view every retailer's most recently catalogue so specials are simple to find.

The app is continually adding new retailers and includes Coles, Aldi, Woolworths, IGA and retailers like Chemist Warehouse where you can stock up on cleaning supplies and baby products.

These catalogues are usually updated weekly.

4. Half-Price

The Half-Price app focuses on those items that are being offered for half-price which is an excellent way to save.

In the lead up to Christmas you can find the best specials and shop around at multiple retailers to maximise your savings on fresh produce and pantry staples, as well as supplies for the festive season.

Users simply select their state and have instant access to the best deals in their area.
