Schapelle Corby shares the first photos from her 40th birthday party
Schapelle Corby’s first birthday since her return to Australia just so happened to be her 40th.
Now, four days on, she’s finally given us a peek inside the festivities.
Corby, who spent nine years in a Bali prison after being convicted of drug smuggling, turned 40 at home in Queensland on Monday. At the time, she posted an Instagram video of herself singing and enjoying the sunshine.

Today, she and sister Mercedes both shared photos from her party that show the Corby family eating, drinking and being merry.
In her caption, Corby reflected on the significance of celebrating her first birthday on home soil after 13 years in another country.
"Each year it’s been my wish to be home, finally [in] 2017 it’s a reality,” she wrote.
