Mike has spoken about meeting his wife previously, sharing it was Zara who made the first move.
While Mike was in town for the Rugby World Cup, Zara, a Olympic eventing rider happened to be passing through while travelling the country on a gap year, reportedly with her cousin Prince Harry.
"Later on, Austin (his teammate) gave me her number and said, 'She wants you to text her, to say where you're all going out after the final so she can come along," he told a newspaper in 2011, reported Hello!
"First actual date, just went out for lunch locally, and ended up being quite a boozy one. Then we figured out that we both quite like getting smashed. It was a good start," he shared.
The couple even shared a sot of themselves holding hands Instagram/@mike_tindall12
The two became more acquainted, making the relationship official in 2004 and marrying in 2011 Canongate Kirk on Edinburgh's Royal Mile.
After marriage, they settled into their home located in Zara's mother Princess Anne's Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire, and welcomed their three children – Mia, 10, Lena, five, and Lucas, three.
