Royal kids look well and truly grown up as they make Trooping the Colour appearance

The annual event Trooping the Colour parade took place under sunny skies but without the colourful antics we’ve come to know it for, as the young royals show they’re well and truly grown up.

While there weren't the usual balcony facial expressions we've come to love from Prince Louis he did still give us a couple of moments during the RAF flypast as he looked on in awe.

Senior working members of the royal family gathered on the Buckingham Palace balcony to watch the RAF flypast, a highlight of the day's events.

And this is the scene from above, as the Red Arrows perform a flypast over Buckingham Palace.

As they left Buckingham Palace for the start of the day's events at Horse Guards Parade, the Wales children rode in an open-top Ascot Landau carriage alongside their mum.

Their carriage featured in a procession with King Charles and Queen Camilla, in the annual event celebrating the monarch's birthday.

Kate, the Colonel of the Irish Guards, looked stunning in a baby blue coat dress with white trim with her regimental brooch affixed to her lapel. While son Prince Louis went for a matching tie.

It was while standing that we got to see just how grown up the kids are, with George almost as tall as his mum.
