Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, marks 60th birthday with stylish new portrait
The Duchess of Edinburgh is commemorating her 60th birthday with a brand-new portrait.
Sophie was photographed by London-based fashion photographer Christina Ebenezer earlier this month.
The royal is seen laughing as she sits on a window seat in her Surrey home.

Sophie is set to celebrate her 60th birthday at her home privately alongside her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh.
According to the BBC, the Palace says upon her 60th birthday, Sophie will remain committed to her gender equity work.
The Duchess of Edinburgh has wrapped up a busy year. She and Prince Edward increased their royal duties, while King Charles and the Princess of Wales underwent cancer treatment for the majority of the year.
In November, the pair attended Remembrance Day. Sophie stood by Kate's side and placed a hand on her shoulder as they exited the balcony together in a poignant moment.
The royal is now also patron of Capability Scotland, a role previously held by the late Prince Philip, the former Duke of Edinburgh, for more than six decades of its 75-year existence.
The duchess also took over as royal patron of Plan International UK, a charity previously supported by her late father-in-law, Philip.
