Fergie 'weighs up $2.4m tell-all interview' about Epstein ties as daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie 'despair' over her antics

Sarah Ferguson is reportedly weighing up options when it comes to giving a tell-all interview on the events that led to her and ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's exile from the royal family.

But there is one thing holding her back.

The 66-year-old is supposedly concerned about the impact of her words on her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who barely remain in the royal fold, having been shunned from recent events like their late grandmother Queen Elizabeth II's 100th birthday events.

A source has reported to The Mirror the former Duchess of York is strapped for cash, and is open to a television interview about her and her ex-husband's relationship with late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, but is "also very aware of the tightrope she's walking" given her daughters' and their families' position.

One such deal is supposedly offering her $US1.75 million (approx. $2.4 million).

"There's a real sense she wants, in fact needs, to tell her side of the story, but she knows it has to be handled carefully. She can't ignore the reality of how this looks, especially given Andrew's close relationship with the pedophile," the source said.

Royal expert Jennie Bond told the publication Beatrice and Eugenie would be "in despair" if their mother went ahead with an interview, giving them the type of negative publicity they are desperately trying to avoid.

The sisters have been laying low the past few months since the news broke that both their mother and father were not only named in the Epstein files, but were close to him.

"If she wants to protect her family, her best strategy is to continue keeping as low a profile as possible," Bond said.

"She is obviously angry and hurt by what has happened – although, frankly, she has only herself to blame for continuing her friendship with Epstein, and also lying about having ended it."

She added that any revelation Fergie shared would also reveal the goings-on of the Palace and anger the royal family even further.

The author has been missing from the public eye for months. According to reports, her whereabouts are being kept from senior members of the royal family, including the King and his heir, Prince William.

Her disappearance from the public eye this year has been so complete even Beatrice and Eugenie may not know exactly where she is from week to week, claimed New York-based gossip columnist Rob Shuter, who often reports on the royal family.

According to the last reports, the former royal is currently staying at an upmarket ski resort in Austria.
