Six years after Rania and then-Prince Abdullah married, King Hussein fell gravely ill with cancer and named Abdullah as heir, instead of the Hussein's brother.

Her Oldfield-designed wedding dress featured gold embroidery with nods to Jordan's culture and it's likely Princess Iman's might too.

Recently Oldfield was confirmed as the designer who will be creating a gown for Queen Consort Camilla to wear to the coronation of King Charles in May.

Queen Rania and King Abdullah II are likely to be among those attending the coronation as they remain close with the British royal family.

There were among the mourners at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II in September.

The news of Princess Iman's engagement last year was closely followed by another.
