Queen Mathilde of Belgium stuns in a red sequin dress during recent engagement
Queen Mathilde and King Philippe of Belgium made a glamorous appearance at the finals of 2024 International Music Competition Of Belgium.
The royals accompanied each other at the Queen Elisabeth Violin Competition, which was held at Bozar in Brussels.
Queen Mathilde dazzled attendees in a sequined red gown by British fashion designer Jenny Packham.

The fiery gown features a high neckline and retails for an eye-watering AU$6,345; Mathilde completed her look with matching red shoes, a bouquet and a glitzy clutch.
King Philippe wore a navy blue suit, white button-down shirt and a polka dot tie, opting for shiny black dress shoes.

The Belgian Monarchy explained the importance of this competition.
"In 2024, the Queen Elisabeth of Belgium International Musical Competition will be dedicated to the violin for the twentieth time in its history," it said.

"Since 2014, Her Majesty the Queen has granted her High Patronage to the competition created in 1937 at the initiative of Queen Elisabeth and the Belgian violinist and composer Eugène Ysaÿe."
Tomorrow, the King and Queen will offer lunch to the members of the Competition Jury at the Brussels Palace as a thank you for their involvement in the competition.
"The Queen will attend finals sessions at the Palais des Beaux-Arts (Bozar) on Wednesday, May 29, Thursday, May 30 and Saturday, June 1. This last session will be followed by the proclamation of the winners."

"The Queen will present the prizes to the winners at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Waterloo on Tuesday, June 4."
Mathilde will also attend the winners' concert on Monday, June 10, and the closing concert on Wednesday, June 12.
