Queen Mary's chic look at royal reception for Denmark's Paris 2024 athletes
Queen Mary has looked effortlessly chic at a reception held in honour of Denmark's Olympic and Paralympic athletes on Thursday.
Mary, 52, and King Frederik, 56, were joined by Queen Margrethe's sister Princess Benedikte, 80, for the occasion.
Danish Olympians and Paralympians were invited to the reception, held at Fredensborg Palace.

Mary chose a floral pink and orange dress with ruffled detailing at the collar and belt.
She completed the look with beige pumps.
Upon her arrival, the Queen wore a white coat to keep her warm.

Mary and Benedikte watched on as as Frederik congratulated competitors on their efforts at this year's games in Paris.
The King wore a grey day suit with purple tie.
Princess Benedikte chose a lilac dress with a red and blue kaftan-style coat with matching blue accessories.
The reception was attended by equestrian Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour, who won a silver team medal and placed fifth in the individual freestyle at the games.

Also in attendance was Alexander Hillhouse, who won the Paralympic gold medal in the 100m Butterfly swimming event.
Ahead of the event, the Danish royal family showcased special decorations for the reception, including the Olympic rings fashioned out of flowers.

"The Orangery at Fredensborg Castle is currently smelling of fresh flowers, vegetables and food," they shared in a social media post.
"In an hour, Their Majesties the King and Queen will pay tribute to the Danish athletes who have participated in the Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games in Paris."

The Danish royal family were steadfast in their support of their country's teams at the Olympics and Paralympics.
King Frederik and Queen Mary, who was born in Australia, attended events at the game and showed her conflicting loyalties between Denmark and Australia.
The Aussie women's 4x200m freestyle relay team had the whole country cheering them on, including the Aussie born and bred Queen Mary of Denmark.
She also posed with members of the Australian Olympic team.
