Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift turned heads as she arrived at the VMAs after party, held at the famed Electric Lady Studio in New York.
The singer strutted into her favoured studio in a corset top, skirt, and bomber jacket combo that marked her second alien-inspired outfit of the night.
Earlier, she accepted the award for Best Collaboration alongside Post Malone, wearing a sequined custom rendition of a Monse Fall 2024 runway piece featuring a tapestry with a UFO as the focal point.
Swift is known to drop hints with her clothing, and it just so happens that she uses the metaphor of an alien abduction in her song Down Bad from her latest album The Tortured Poet's Department to describe a fleeting relationship.
A UFO motif is also used in her live performance of the song in her Eras Tour concerts.
So, fans suspect she's not-so-subtly hinting that it'll be her next single.
Tyla
Singer Tyla went for a unique denim-on-denim look as she arrived at the after party.
The star's outfit was something of an optical illusion, with the top barely clinging to her body – a clear netted material doing all the work to keep it there.
Tate McRae and The Kid Laroi
Aussie musician The Kid Laroi was also at the afterparty with his pop star girlfriend Tate McRae.
McRae wore a bedazzled minidress in tones of pink and tan.
Sabrina Carpenter
Pop star Sabrina Carpenter swapped her Hollywood bombshell-inspired look at the VMAs for a flirty and fun sheer lace mini-dress for the after party.
She added to the retro look a purse covered in lipstick stains, platform heels, and a colourful eye makeup looks to complement her signature intense blush.
Post Malone
Taylor Swift's collaborator Post Malone arrived cheerily to the studios wearing a floral embroidered khaki blazer, blue jeans and cowboy boots, as well as his signature baseball cap.
Suki Waterhouse
Suki Waterhouse gave a bashful smile and waved her feather-engulfed arms as she wore a statement jacket over a cutout-black midi-dress
Katy Perry
Set to receive this year's Video Vanguard award, Katy Perry made sure to wow on the red carpet.
The Woman's World singer stepped out in a tattered white set, pairing a simple one-shoulder crop with an extravagant skirt.
Katy Perry
The singer opted for the 'wet look' that has been trending recently, wearing her long black locks down in a damp style over her shimmering skin.

Her skirt also featured a V-cut at the back to show off a mysterious QR code tattoo.
