Cambridge kids bake treats with Kate in Kensington Palace kitchen

The Cambridges have given the public an insight into their kitchen.

They shared a series of photos on Sunday as the Big Jubilee lunch events got underway around the UK on the last day of official Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis can be seen baking with the Duchess of Cambridge inside Kensington Palace earlier in the week.

"Baking cakes for the local community in Cardiff to enjoy at a Platinum Jubilee street party taking place today! We hope you like them!" the royals said on social media.

After stealing the show at Trooping the Colour on Thursday, little Louis didn't join the family on the trip to Wales on Saturday — George and Charlotte's first royal visit.

But that didn't stop the four-year-old from getting involved in the baking, helping sift the flour and decorate the cupcakes.

Princess Charlotte, 7, was seen cracking the eggs and pouring out some ingredients from glass jars.

Prince George, 8, appeared to lead the siblings at the mixing station surrounded by festive Union Jack bunting.

The group was seen laughing and sharing the excitement as Kate helped them ice the treats and sprinkle on the final flourishes.

The Cambridge kids have been getting more involved in royal duties across the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, making their first appearance in the carriage procession at Trooping the Colour on Thursday.

The two older siblings then made a surprise appearance alongside their parents in Wales on Saturday, when they would have dropped off the cupcakes they made.

In the evening, George and Charlotte were alongside Prince William and Kate in the front row of the royal box at the Platinum Party at the Palace concert, outside Buckingham Palace.

The kids were seen giggling at the Queen's Paddington Bear skit, waving their flags and singing along to Sweet Caroline.
