All the highlight music acts from the Queen's Platinum Party at the Palace
An all-star list of performers took to the stage at the Queen's Platinum Party at the Palace, making for an exciting and jam-packed concert night.
From British rock band Queen to Birmingham band Duran Duran and Alicia Keys, the Queen enjoyed performances from talent after talent.
Of course, to open a night of music, celebrating the world-record breaking achievement of 70 years on the throne, the concert had to begin with a '70s rock hit - 'We Will Rock You'.

Andrea Bocelli
The surprise act everyone is talking about is that of Italian tenor, Andrea Bocelli.
Bocelli stunned viewers with his heart-wrenching performance of 'Nessun Dorma', with fans saying it "brought them to tears" in comments on Twitter.

Bocelli gave his performance with the support of a full orchestra and wore a black suit and bow tie, as well as his signature dark glasses.
His performance proved all the more moving given Bocelli announced just last week that he was grieving the loss of his mother, Edi Bocelli.
Bocelli wears his glasses even at night to help with his lack of sight – the Italian tenor went blind at age 12 after suffering a brain haemorrhage as the result of a soccer accident.
Fans took to Twitter to praise Bocelli's performance, saying it "brought tears to their eyes". AP
Queen rocks away

Hilariously, Queen's opening performance was introduced by the monarch and another British icon – Paddington Bear.
In the Queen's surprise and adorable skit with Paddington, the pair intro the song by tapping the beat with their teaspoons against their tea cups.
Queen's iconic lead guitarist Brian May put on a show-stopping performance, riffing away with Queen's new lead singer, US performer Adam Lambert.
Alicia Keys
A surprise appearance, but a very welcome one no less, was that of New York music legend Alicia Keys.
The 'Empire State of Mind' singer graced the stage looking lovely in a gold embellished short-sleeve jacket and slicked-back up-do, ready to put on an epic performance for a buzzing crowd.

Keys performed two of her most famous hits - 'Empire State of Mind' and 'If I Ain't Got You', and it was clear the royals themselves were enjoying the performance.
When the camera panned to the royal's VIP box, the Cambridges were spotted clearly singing along with Keys.
Viewers were full of applause for the New Yorker, who admitted she "felt at home" in London. AP
Rod Stewart
It wouldn't be a British show if the cheeky Rod Stewart didn't make an appearance!
The 'Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?' singer graced the stage in a funky golden blazer, brushing his shaggy locks out of his eyes as he performed a few great hits.

Stewart truly took the concert to the next level with his performance of the "official song" of the Jubilee – Neil Diamond's 'Sweet Caroline'.
The singer gave a karaoke-like performance, encouraging crowds to sing along with him as he went.

Sir Elton John
The much-awaited appearance from Sir Elton John came via a pre-recorded performance for the Queen's Jubilee party.
The 'Tiny Dancer' singer appeared after a slew of celebrity tributes to the monarch, apologising for not being able to appear in person.

John is currently on the last leg of his concert tour, so was unable to be at the concert in person, but provided an emotional rendition of his song, 'Your Song' for fans and viewers to enjoy – and perhaps shed a secret tear too.
Diana Ross
Finally, to close the show, crowds welcomed the one and only Diana Ross.
It's a little-known fact that Prince Charles has quite a soft spot for the 'I'm Coming Out' singer, and her performance proved why.
Ross brought the fun with her performance of 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' to close the show.
