Prince Harry and Meghan front and centre with fellow royals during Queen's coffin procession
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have played key roles in today's procession of Her Majesty's coffin from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall, a further sign of easing tensions with the royal family.
This is the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's second appearance with the Prince and Princess of Wales, having joined the pair for a walkabout at Windsor Castle to view flower tributes left for Queen Elizabeth following her death on September 8.

Harry, 37, walked behind the coffin beside his brother Prince William, 40, as it was carried out of Buckingham Palace, part of a group of key family members which included Queen Elizabeth's children King Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.
In a car following them was Camilla, the Queen Consort, Kate Middleton, Meghan, and Sophie, the Countess of Wessex.

Harry and Megan then reunited to follow the Queen's coffin into Westminster Hall, walking behind Prince William and Kate.

Queen Elizabeth will lie in state at Westminster Hall, allowing members of the public to pay their respects ahead of her funeral on September 19 at Westminster Abbey.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's inclusion in key events following the death of the Queen has delighted many royal followers and is in stark contrast to their involvement following the death of Prince Philip in 2021.

Prince Philip was laid to rest on April 17. This time Prince Harry flew to the UK solo to join his family at his grandfather's funeral.

He walked behind the royal's coffin, with his cousin Peter Phillips placed between he and Prince William.

Meghan didn't join her husband for Prince Philip's funeral; she was pregnant with the couple's second child at the time and reportedly advised to avoid travel.
This time, both Harry and Meghan have participated in events, the couple having already been in the UK for a number of appearances when Her Majesty unexpectedly died.

Queen Elizabeth is said to have played an active role in planning her funeral and may have requested her youngest grandson and his wife be included in the proceedings.
In fact, planning for the funeral will have begun the day she ascended the British throne 70 years ago in 1952, however were discussed in more detail as of 2018.

Harry and Meghan had been photographed arriving at Buckingham Palace earlier in the day, with royal commentator Victoria Murphy describing it on Today as a "real family moment", calling the reunion "poignant".
It is understood the couple will not fly their children Archie, three, and Lilibet, one, to the UK for Monday's funeral. The will instead remain at the couple's home in Montecito, California, with their carers, believed to likely include Meghan's mother Doria Ragland.
