Princess Mary shares photos from her family’s day out at the zoo

Princess Mary has proudly shown off her beautiful children, sharing a series of photos taken from their summer holiday.

The Australian-born royal and her family have spent several days on board the Danish Royal Yacht, Dannebrog, which has been in operation since 1932.

Mary and husband Crown Prince Frederick took their four children on a sailing adventure through Denmark, making several stops along the way and documenting their holiday on Instagram.

They visited the Knuthenborg Safari Park, the largest in Northern Europe and home to more than 1000 free-range wildlife.

Mary was spotted smiling with a giraffe in the Africa section of the zoo.

Her daughters, Princess Isabella, 11, and Princess Josephine, seven, were lucky enough to hand-feed lemurs.

Like so many males, Prince Frederick and his sons clearly have a fascination with dinosaurs.

He was pictured standing in front of a large pterodactyl model.

While Prince Christian, 12, and his brother Prince Vincent, seven, were seen getting their hands dirty, digging for fossils.

Princess Mary also snapped a photo of Vincent posing front of a scaring-looking tyrannosaurus rex.

The 46-year-old is a keen photographer, regularly sharing photos of her young family to the Danish Royal Household’s official Instagram page.

But like all holidays, the family’s time on the water came to an end with Princess Mary getting straight back to work two days later.

She attended The Future of Fashion, an event showcasing the works of Danish designers for Copenhagen Fashion Week.

Looking stunning in a patterned pink dress with matching heels, the Crown Princess awarded prizes to three talented winners.

Mary was also in the front row of a catwalk show, before rubbing shoulders with supermodel Naomi Campbell at the Copenhagen Fashion Summit, for which Mary is a patron.
