Princess Eugenie spotted for the first time since dad Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's arrest

Princess Eugenie has been spotted for the first time since her father's arrest in Sandringham last Thursday.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's younger daughter was photographed grabbing a coffee in London's trendy Notting Hill on Tuesday, alongside her husband Jack Brooksbank.

The casually clad couple were seen in paparazzi photos, published by both Daily Mail in the UK and People magazine in the US, without their two sons for the outing.

Brooksbank was chatting away on his phone before they got into a black Range Rover.

The family split their time between London and Portugal, where Brooksbank works for A-list haunt CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club.

Princess Eugenie, who was seen smiling, wore a North Face cap with Nike trainers, teal leggings and a baggy black T-shirt partially covered by an unbuttoned navy rain jacket.

Brooksbank opted for navy chinos with trainers, a bright blue zip-up runner's top and a multi-coloured beanie.

It's understood Eugenie has been "in a state" since news of her father's arrest first broke, while she was on a ski holiday in the exclusive Gstaad Palace resort in Switzerland.

It's also been reported that the Princess had not been in regular contact with her dad or mum, Sarah Ferguson, in recent months in an effort to distance herself from them in the wake of the Epstein files.

"We understand that Eugenie, for example, goes through periods where she doesn't speak to her parents since all of this unfolded," Telegraph UK journalist India McTaggart told BBC last week.

The files consist of more than 3 million emails, a number of which were sent to or from Ferguson and the then-Duke of York.

Andrew, once second in line to the throne, was arrested on the morning of his 66th birthday on suspicion of misuse of public office.

The man formerly known as Prince Andrew before being stripped of his titles in October, was questioned by police for almost 11 hours before being released.

He returned to Wood Farm House on the King's private Sandringham Estate after being booted from his former home of two decades, Royal Lodge in Windsor.

The arrest followed allegations the royal provided convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein with sensitive documents during his time as UK trade envoy between 2001 - 2011.

Andrew's always denied any wrongdoing in his relationship with the late disgraced American financier and no charges have been laid by Thames Valley Police, which is leading the investigation.

As a result of the continued fall from grace for the second son of the late Queen Elizabeth, the Commonwealth realms, including Australia, are considering whether to support the UK parliament's plans to remove the eighth in line to the throne from the line of succession.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has already come out in favour of this change, which will largely be symbolic as Andrew is behind Prince William and his three young children, as well as Prince Harry and his two children, so would have been unlikely to inherit the crown.
